Please read these terms carefully before placing an order. By placing an order with Caravan Shelf Solutions, you agree to these terms.
About us
Caravan Shelf Solutions is a UK-based business supplying made-to-measure replacement shelves for caravans. References to 'we', 'us', or 'our' refer to Caravan Shelf Solutions. References to 'you' or 'your' refer to the customer placing an order.
Placing an order
By submitting an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the specified goods. We reserve the right to decline any order. A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email and accept payment. Please check your order carefully before submitting — all shelves are made to the exact dimensions you provide.
Made-to-measure goods
All shelves are made to measure to your exact specifications. Because they are custom-made, they are exempt from the standard 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. We cannot accept returns or offer refunds for shelves that have been cut to your dimensions unless the item is faulty or was cut incorrectly.
Your responsibility for measurements
You are responsible for providing accurate dimensions. We cut shelves to the dimensions you enter in the configurator. We are not liable for shelves that do not fit due to errors in your measurements. We recommend reading our Measuring Guide before ordering.
Pricing and VAT
All prices shown on our website are inclusive of VAT at the current UK rate of 20%. Prices are subject to change without notice, but the price charged will be the price displayed at the time you place your order. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout.
Payment
Payment is taken in full at the time of ordering. We accept major credit and debit cards via Stripe. Payment card details are processed securely by Stripe and are not stored by us.
Dispatch and delivery
We aim to dispatch orders within 5–7 working days of payment. Delivery is to mainland UK addresses only. We are not responsible for delays caused by the courier once your order has been dispatched. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
Faulty or incorrectly cut items
If your shelf arrives damaged or the dimensions differ from your order by more than ±2mm, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Limitation of liability
Our liability to you in connection with any order will not exceed the total price paid for that order. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or damage to property, arising from the use or fitting of our products. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Fixings and installation
Our shelves are supplied without brackets, fixings, or installation instructions. You are responsible for sourcing appropriate fixings and for the safe installation of shelves in your caravan. We accept no liability for damage arising from improper installation.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Orders placed before any change are governed by the terms in force at the time of ordering.
